Argh... I tried to be an early bird with my class registration and all I got was registration closed. Now I've tried and the system is frozen.

Well i actually logged in late. I signed into the portal at 10am, took me like 2 mins to load and it was BROKEN! So i looked up the source code to get the link to the timetabling site, and i just put in my preplanned choices :)

whats the direct link to the timetable? i cant find the link.. it doesnt fully load that part of the portal

Finally all my classes opened and i registered just in time before the portal got shut down:

"The Portal has recently received higher than expected traffic and has had to close temporarily. Our technical staff are working on the problem and hope to have it back up soon."

Phew!

Phew!

Why not just have a sever capable of taking all students at once OR, ALTERNATIVELY AND A SOMEWHAT BETTER IDEA, let people register in classes in batches.
