Yeah but when has the university actually been in touch with what students feel.

Last year I got 79 for a subject and when I asked about my exam mark I was told I actually got a 78 and

74 for quantum physics! So happy all that's left is electrodynamics... My most feared subject. :S

Probably important for all the people getting marks for the first time: if you get a 79 (or 74 etc.) you might not have gotten that mark exactly. You might have actually ended up with a 77 and the department has scaled you to a 79 because it makes no difference to your grade, but makes students feel better.

But I'm pretty sure the average mark for the subject would have been a fair bit lower.

89% average is more than my Arts averages (86) which is slightly comforting because it means I didn't totally fail at life when I switched courses, but still slightly disconcerting because if I had just managed a little higher in Chemistry then I could have had a 90 average and I like things that start with 9.

Does anyone know if you can enrol into a subject you have failed for semester 2 
Or do you have to wait for your student centre to contact you (it was a compulsory subject, fml)
I was hoping I could finalise my timetable so its not all over the place, thanks.
