Psych, nearly done.
English, session with Shinny, reading his notes on the train.
Methods, watching videos.
I.T, going over revision for exams.
Accounting, nothing, yet..

I've almost finished a very thick book about the history of modern China up until the end of the cold war.

It is relevant to none of my subjects.

Rereading Watchmen, avoiding calls from socialists; the usual. I finished all my Revs homework on Wednesday, which I'm quite happy about. I've also drank about 6L of iced tea.

I think the holidays have exacerbated my hyperthyroidism - can't sleep due to a resting heart rate of 100 bpm, and I'm eating all the time. :D I eventually collapse at around 4 AM, get up at 1 PM and then do no work...still have a load of learning activities to do for Psych, but I can't be bothered. Can't believe the first week's almost over - I feel as if I've done nothing at all.

I don't know if it's hyperthyroidism, but I do the exact same thing LOL... probably because why sleep when there's so much fun shit you can be doing =P.

I know! I always figure, well, during the term, I can't stay up past 1 AM or I'll be dead for the school day. But during the holidays, I don't have to wake up...at all. I could literally stay asleep until the next day, if I wanted. Unfortunately at night, when I'm staying up, I don't get anything productive done - I think I've reread through my entire comic book collection, but I've done no homework. And during the day, I'm asleep, so that's even less productive. D:

Holidays quite honestly are the most depressing times of the year.
If you sleep and rest, then you feel guilty about not studying.
If you study, then you feel overwhelmed by the amount of content which needs to be covered within the next semester.
At least during the academic semesters, we are too preoccupied with homework and co-curricular activities that we have less time to contemplate such depressing thoughts.
Preparing for the UMAT has also been quite depressing. Personally, I am finding my section 1 and 2 scores progressing along quite nicely, but when it comes to section 3, I am still languishing at the bottom of an endless pit :(
Holidays. How depressing.

About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle

It's so comforting to know that if getting into Med doesn't work out, then I still have some sort of future in producing inspiring pieces of poetry.

Nice to meet you Water.

I definitely understand that statement :/
There's so much I feel that I have to get done these holidays but I won't be able to do as much as I'd like...
Bleh.
