wow. that sounds like major competition!

you might wanna grab it and redirect it, enwiabe?

its not registered atm.

still, aren't people just going to flood here, once they see the appeal in the whole VCE notes thing? whats the appeal in a forum community that has very few people?

And people stop joining a dead forum! LOL...you will get no benefit except your real name being plastered all over the net...interesting lack of privacy on that site...

Hmmm, I'm not particularly worried. It looks poorly executed. My only concern is that I'm at uni now and have very little time to work on the site. I hope I've produced a good enough service that people keep coming back. If they don't, it'll only be because they're offering something better in which case I'll have to up my ante. Thanks for  the heads up. :)

Also, moving this to General Education Discussion because this pertains to a website, and not the VCE itself as was intended for this forum.

Don't worry enwiabe, VN is great, and an EXCELLENT resource for all VCE students, excluding major expenses. :) You should be very proud of your achievements and allowing people like me the opportunity to have access to such great facilities! Keep up the good work ;D

That site's ripped that template off verbatim (and even changed the footer to remove credit):

http://www.marcon.mamplates.net

At least this site's design is original... and doesn't infringe on copyright. Better resources too.

'Twas quite simple! It looked like a generic CMS (namely, Joomla), so I just viewed the source and looked at what stylesheet info:

Quote
<link href="http://vceonline.com.au/templates/mp_marcon/css/template_css.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

The "mp_marcon" was the useful part... I googled that, and that template site was the first to come up.

Definetely something that was hastily thrown together, since the CSS is messed up, the guy hasn't put up a logo and there's no customisation from the normal Joomla system.

Sooo.... shouldn't be any competition anytime soon!
