Oh my god. A+ cut off was 164!! That's the highest it's ever been!
Yea, though I've accepted my A and have to move on, the thing that really gets to me is that I missed out on an A+ by a MAXIMUM of 3.5 marks =/
And it could have been like 1 mark

But I'm relieved by the fact that your specific mark doesnt matter (A+, A... etc).... its your MARKS that matter (what you got out of 180), so if I got a high A, I'm still in with a shot at 40+ and I have close marks to those who got a low A+... thats what kept me going  :D:D:D:D

But I really have to pull my head in earlier this time, procastonated so so much last time round

If I were you I wouldn't be too stressed out about whether you got an A or an A+. Who cares? In the end the only thing that matters is the sum of your scores for this exam and the end of year exam. The 'Grade' is just a way of classifying scores, just an over-hyped letter stamped to your paper. It doesn't matter.

Yep, and I thought it was of comparable difficulty to last year's exam.

If you sent it tonight or tomoz you would be lucky to get it Fri, if not then either on Monday or Tuesday

They don't send them out until about ten days after the results release date.

I got an A, I'm really happy. Only two people in my class got an A+ so... woohoo!
Just be happy with what you got, and eventhough it is the nature of the VCE don't compare yourself to other people, it just makes you feel crap... or feel good and then feel crap for feeling good that they didn't do as well as you... basically: comparing sucks.

so, a high cut-off for A+ generally means that many students did very well on this exam?
