This is from the Monash website:

Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
Average annual student contribution
$6,976 AUD

I don't think that is bad compared to other courses...

what do you mean by bad? :s

I don't want a HECS debt on it, though...

Indeed she is :P
She either wants to be a lawyer or a doctor but a few months ago, she randomly facebooked me a message saying that she is considering transferring out of the law course and doing medicine so that she can become a doctor - just like Dr. House from "House". LOL

Tehe, good luck to her; coming from a rich family has it's advantages. :D

It's not THAT much. My parents payed around that amount this year in school fees for me.
And they are NOT filthy rich.
They just work their butts off in high-endish paying jobs.

But who would do a full-fee course?
Weird.
I would choose HECS every time.
2007 - History Revolutions (35)
2008 - English (40), Literature (37), National Politics (37), Maths Methods (32), History Renaissance (39)
ENTER: 93.20

2009 - Bachelor of Arts (ANU)
2010 - Bachelor of Classical Studies (ANU)
Majors: Ancient Greek, Ancient History, Archaeology

You have a good point, Rietie. HECS does seem more reasonable than Full-fee places.
