Maybe I can go there instead of Monash in a couple of years time? What is the average you would need in a law course to transfer to law at ANU? :)

I'm guessing if you'd be transferring from VU then you'd probably need at the very least a Distinction average, most likely a fair bit higher even. You might have to repeat some subjects too (this would probably be pretty standard when transferring from VU to any Group of Eight university).

I guess as long as I get the most prestigious law degree in Australia I'm happy, no matter what circumstances I have to withstand. :)

I'm not sure really. It's by far the smallest place I've ever lived, but it's still very much a capital city. And living on campus means you have a pretty hectic social life, so it doesn't feel quiet at all. You only notice that the 'berra isn't that large by the fact that the traffic is never bad like it is in Melbourne, and the shops aren't open as much. That and the city centre, though never really empty, isn't always busy like Melbourne.

Hmmmm I'm not sure ANU's law degree is the most prestigious in Australia (maybe in international law, but probably not corporate). I don't think there's a great deal of difference between LLB at Monash/ANU/USyd/UNSW even. Though I think UNSW might be a bit behind the rest.

Pity employers don't necessarily see it that way...
