I should put an Arts degree... The ENTER's are lower, and you can transfer into any course after 1 year. It's a win-win situation

Plus there's the fact that Arts degrees are brilliant. Just a minor perk.

U serious? The uni's would bother to accept your offer for an interview? I mean it'd be great if that was possible, in case I did poorly...

Yeh well I will obviously tell them I jsut want to speak to them... then state my case. No harm in doing so. And I am just saying I would do this if I got like 95 and the clearly in was 90....
like not if i got 89 and the enter needed was 90

I thought they wouldnt consider you at all?

I think you're missing the point. According to normal procedures they won't. But organising to see someone about it to explain my circumstances may find a loop hole.

That is, unfortunately, the most likely scenario, however showing commitment and desire to the faculty is never a bad thing
