to mao amm well yes your right, specialist would help but it consumes too much of your time; I've heard that it may require as much as 2 hrs a day. But it could be a possibility.
Also your doing 5 to so :p, oh yes but you only did 1 in year 11 so yes i see your point.
Costargh, no it's a pretty lenient school, i don't like those strict schools, too much of a headache!
1 more thing, would only doing chemistry, English and methods disadvantage me or give me an advantage for year 12? thanx guys

1) specialist can take up time, but then so does all your subjects. If you want to achieve in any subjects you gotta be prepared to put in the effort.

2) I am in fact doing 6 this year (inc MUEP), as well as 2 last year, and I whole-heartedly recommend against it. It is superfluous, not intellectually enlightening, and doesn't serve a purpose for my higher education at all! Even though this is completely subjective, I do suggest against you taking an extra subject simply because "I can fit it in, so I might as well do it". That was the attitude I had for ITA last year, and I absolutely hated it.

3) the only disadvantage you take up is when you do subjects you don't enjoy, that hinders your performance hugely. Don't let "physics will help me in uni" be a reason to do it. If you don't like it at all, there's little point in keeping it.

What about the chances of me doing Monash uni enhancement philosophy of science as my 4th subject next year? is that too much of a workload?
And yes your right costargh, i think doing 3 would make me distracted and bludge alot so i'll try stay away from that possibility.

then DON'T drop it. physics 3/4 moves away from pracs and you are a lot more exam-oriented. The only prac you will be required to design/conduct will be the Extended Practical Investigation, but that's only one SAC.

doing enhancement is definitely worth it, however admission will require good marks at school. If you think you can get 40+ in one of your subjects this year, and get A/A+ in all essay-writing subjects, then uni enhancement will definitely be worth looking at. uni enhancement don't have huge workload, very interesting coursework and it's pretty much all self-motivated. If you can self-control and do the required work, that's more than enough to get a good score.

the admission is in January (you get the letter by mail).
