I think it is a very good idea! Especially if we don't have to pay abundant costs like the UoM lectures series... $500 lost :P

Before we rush ourselves into a risky business like that, we have to ask ourselves a few questions:

What do we have to sacrifice in order to make it work? For many, it will be precious time that undergraduate students cannot forfeit.

Who are our competitors? Specialists at teaching, such as actual teachers, already working in well-known companies such as TSFX and Neap.

You are not wrong to say that profits can pay it off, but the opportunity cost of time and the risk of competition is too high. My original intention, however, was just to poke fun at your irrelevant quotation of "investment for life."

Well if it's worth it for both parties, it's worth it, if not, not
Curiously [no disrespect at all intended] why are people suggesting enwiabe would get money for these lectures [unless he was himself giving a lecture]?

If the lectures are run by VN then obviously the entity "VCENotes" would be getting the revenue, but his expenses would be payment to the lecturers.

Instead of making VCENotes Lectures, we should make a Tuition Centre and hire like a primary school etc and run classes on a weekly biases for every subject.  I think this will be good.

Yes, and make it highly expensive. This should give VN lots of profit, while taking advantage of ignorant primary school children.

why would any1 other than the lectures and whoever provided/organized the venue get the revenue. "run by VN" doesn't really mean anything. The important difference which might attract VNers would be the identity of the lectures [and possibly a cheaper price than other companies]
the nearest competitor would be: http://vcenotes.com/forum/index.php/topic,3529.0.html  :P
