I hate yr12s saying "OMG yr12 is so hard etc etc", when none of them even know what it's like to be at uni yet...  ::)

Yeah, I'm joking, but it puts it all in perspective  :P

I've studied harder at university, but the hard part about VCE is the need to study consistently. At university you have huge periods of rest, and then short periods of cram.

Depends on how you studied in VCE. I had huge periods of rest followed by short periods of cram in yr11 & 12, whereas at uni I constantly have maths assignments to work on. Go figure, I suppose - everyone does it differently. And similarly, I've studied a lot lot more at uni than I ever did in high school.

You can't honestly say that uni students disliking year 12 complaining about vce is the same thing as as year12s disliking year 11s, whom they are in direct competition with, only having one year 12 subject that they can focus on and hence get better marks and a better score in much more easily. Those uni students complaining about year 12s need to get off their high horses, the year 12s aren't affecting them in any way.

Lolz. Uni students don't whinge about yr12s, because we don't particularly care about them anymore. The point was to draw the comparison between them, not about them being able to focus on one subject and all that:
Anyway, the comparison was about the stress of yr11 vs yr12:
i hate when year 11s are like "omgg such a stressful week i have like 2 sacs and theyre so hard. year 11 is so hard im so stressed"
Uni = much harder than yr12, obviously. Hence putting in perspective when yr12s whinge about how hard it is.

Why is uni hard?
VCE - pressure on self to be perfect in order to get high 40s SS
Uni - pressure all gone

VCE = pressure on by parents who want high 99
Uni = pressure on by parents who want HD average

where's the difference? :(

Yeah, 80 is like getting 65-70% on exam due to internal assessments :P

that said, I worked out for one of my subjects on the exam either they can't add up or I got 59%. I don't see how 59% is possible :( meh idc, someone's parent thinks HD HD HD D is amazing results =)

Yeah. One subject I did, I calculated I must have scored 50% on an exam to get the mark I did. Weird...

VCE = meh, don't really care what I get. Pretty sure that I should get 99 with minimal work, so go ahead.

Uni = need an HD average to keep scholarship. Subjects are much much much harder as well (though I really only have myself to blame for that, doing honours year courses in second year).
