HELP ME WITH SUBJECT SELECTION!!

okay i have already picked:

international politics
legal studies

and i'm tossing up between two of these:

english (i've already done another english 3/4 this year)
media
philosophy

i'm leaning towards english, cos they changed the texts so that we get to do catcher in the rye (which i studied in english 1/2 two years ago so that should be easy)

but i can't pick between philo and media
media: scaled down 4ish but fun and a nice bludge subject, which would be a good break from my other subjects
philo: interesting but new study design and it's probably going to be hard and might eat my brain, scales up 2

so media or philo? or both and drop english?

I HAVE TO PICK BY NEXT WEEK! ANY ADVICE OR INSIGHT IS APPRECIATED!!!

English is the shitzu next year - it's harder. I advise you to not do English next year.

Otherwise, media, since it's more straight-forward than philosophy, which is more interpretative I guess.

But seriously, whatever you decide is best. It's better that way, so you can't blame me or us if the shitzu hits the air blowing machine next year. :P

You seem to be good at english, and I rkn you should do an english subject. On the question of whether you should do media or philo, I would personally choose philo.

definitely do philosophy, that's the BEST subject u'll ever do

if u like thinking, making arguments, like to explore ideas u never thought u'd explore , or anything along those lines, it is awesome. that is provided ur teacher is open minded and not an idiot, knows the subject and actually like teaching it.

it does involve u doing quite a bit of thinking, but then ppl on this forum are most probably all nerds anyway :D no offense anyone?

pity i cant do it next year... stupid clash with english language

tbh finishing english lang was only a weight off everyones shoulders cos we had a bad teacher
i enjoyed the subject though...

i honestly think i'd enjoy both philo and media but i might regret media cos it scales or i might regret philo cos i'd have no bludge subject
argghhh so hard to pick
maybe there'll be no room in one so i'll HAVE to do the other haha

Business Management, Health and Human Development are both bludge subjects. Just have to ensure you pull 40+'s otherwise the scaling kicks you in places you've never imagined before.

I personally would do media, over philosophy. But it is up to you - everyone has differing opinions, and only you can properly decide what YOU want to do.

When it comes to those two choice, there is no choice. I'd utterly fail both of them, so scaling is not an issue.

I'd do philosophy simply because it seems like such a fascinating subject, and I guess if you're interested enough by philosophical stuff, then it shouldn't be too hard / too much work - since it doesn't feel like studying if you enjoy it :) trust me I know ^^

Maybe you should make a poll :P so many differing opinions on here ....
