btw what's BoS?

A laggy forum that is full of trolls and dedicates their resources to HSCers (doesn't care about VCE'ers ). FSN was created because BoS was so bad.

Sorry it's a bit off topic but its good to see another girl who plays the guitar ;)

Woo, high 5, that's cool! Very seriously? Or "Ooo look at this new power chord I learnt!" style? I kinda took this year off guitar which was horrible after 3-5 hours a day of it, but I've been playing since I was 6, yay. Flamenco and classical mainly :D! But rock and metal are up there. What styles you play Odey?

My teacher used to quote my BoS posts in class... I don't think he's found out about FSN. :D

Yes. He said it was pretty obvious figuring out it was me. In fact, a number of people from my school have independently figured out I was I. XD

Anyway, he's moving schools now, he wants to finish up strong.. =P

I play piano :) hence my sig :P

I really wanna learn guitar though. And violin. And harp! And a bunch of other instruments which I can't remember right now because I keep changing my mind.

Which uni are you planning to go to? Monash music sucks I heard. But then again my piano teacher works at melb so I spose he MIGHT be a LITTLE biased :P

MAYBE!

At the moment I've put down in the order of VCA, Monash, Melb.
Monash... I dunno, I think it's a bit less dedicated in culture because it's relatively new but I play with some really good people who go there. It can't be all bad, otherwise they would've changed. The instrumental teachers tend to teach all three anyway so it shouldn't make that much difference in those terms. VCA is known to put out much more professional people on the whole though (that said, they go in that way by my experiences so far lol). Melb seems alright but it doesn't really suit me.

I can probs walk you through the basics of guitar if you're serious about that. I used to write heaps for a music forum, so I've got a lot of material lying around.

Oh sweet Odette! Acoustic, seeing it suits those genres more... I play my mates' electrics but I never end up buying one because I've never found one that I'm really in love with - there's no point in buying an entry level because by this stage I'm kinda just a little sure I'm sticking with it.
Should we take this to non-vce? :P

really? that'd be great :P now I just need to steal my friend's guitar :P learning at least one more instrument is on my to-do-after-exams list :)

I forgot about VCA! VCA rules all music schools :P
