My course I know I will get into, but I've been trying all year regardless.
It's hard to explain. Sometimes its not so much that you have to have a required ENTER that you aim for, but more so, getting the most out of yourself.

I'm one of those people that hates doing half assed jobs. That's probably why I do pretty well. I don't compete with other people. Sure, i am ranked against others but i woodnt give a damn if people beat me but i did well and knew i had put in 100%.
I'm sure you'll do well. Especially having a second go at English you should be able to get a really good score. You've already shown great motivation to do well in maths so i hope you exceed al ur expectations. Just remember that this year isnt over. You can still get really good scores for ur essays in the english exam, u have 2 weeks and 6 days so try ur best!

That's a bit of a paradox in a way, since a generic intro can never really stand out (actually on second thoughts, that's not paradoxical at all. It's just a flaw in reasoning =P). If it works for any prompt, how could it possibly directly address the prompt in an insightful way and hence 'stand out'? Sure, you can load it with some big words, nice phrases and such, but if it doesn't relate to the prompt, examiners will know that it's been prepared and they utterly HATE that.

I'm also one of them people that want to try their hardest at things they really care about or want to do well in.
I admit this year I have been procrastinating alot but I know that next year is the year that matters for me.
I have already an idea in my head of what kind of study regime I will be doing over the Christmas holidays and next year during school, doing like 5-8 hours a day with many breaks like a day in between studying or small breaks like 15-30 min to avoid burning out. I think I will do very well next year, especially in maths as I want to be mathematician and that I have the passion and enthusiasm to do well. This year I have been able to grasp all concepts and get A/A+ standard in almost all my subjects except for English and ITA with little study. I have taken this year way too lightly in my eyes and want to change it next year to achieve the results I know, and my teachers know I can get.

I plan on doing dozens of practice exams for methods and specialist from the start of next year to work out any careless mistakes I make. I have already accumulated 50 Methods Exams and 45 Spesh exams and also alot of physics ones too.

My accounting teacher has already extended me to do year 12 work this year such as double entry and the analytical ratios. She has only done this because I am not going to do it next year and it is way too easy for this year.

I'll try hard for the english exam, but I still need alot of work on all areas.

What I mean by a generic intro is an intro that can be used for any conflict essay. For all my SAC's on conflict, and from what my teacher has told me, in the intro you do not need to directly relate everything to the prompt.
My teacher has told me, and other teachers too, that in an intro for conflict, you need not relate it to the prompt too much but show an understanding of conflict. In all of my context essays, I have only discussed the prompt briefly in the intro, but have written on conflict itself and what it is.

If you look at what the VCAA says damo, in SAC's you don't have to directly address a promt for Context.
In the exam you do.

I see now, thanks.
But still some of what I come up with can be used in a effective manner, I just need to adapt it to what will be in the exam.

With my idea, I can still use what I have come up with in the intro or as possible staring sentences in the paragraphs. I defiantly understand what you are saying, but my way can still work to a certain extent.

Yeh I definitely have some pet phrases and sentence starters, but I wouldn't recommend using the EXACT same thing every time. Adapt the ending of each sentence to the prompt given pretty much.

So far, I have got A/A+/A+/A for unit 3 and A+/A Unit Four.

My practise Exams have scored me a 8/9/8, but im looking to improve here. Im aiming for an A or A+ in the Exam.

What are my hopes?

We aren't told rankings, but being part of 320 year twelves, id certainly be up there?
