Hehe, can I join the emotional bunch who will bawl their eyes out on the last day? :P

School has taught me so much! Although I don't really like the people there (they have something against smart people :(), I will miss all of the teachers who cut into their time to help me (sometimes at 1am correcting my essays!), I will miss my maths teacher, who tries to help me, but ultimately, never can :(, I will miss the new theatre that was built, and how we will never get to use it, I will miss it when the little kids say my name (how do they know me? :P), but most of all, I will miss the way in which I had transformed into a supposedly bashful child in year 7 to a studious person in year 12! Think of the contrast!

I can already feel the tears forming... :'(

Oh yeah, good point.

I miss some of my teachers. And sometimes think of my friends from younger year levels (they would be in year 10/11 this year). No one from my year level though, all gone.

Also it would help if I didn't forget the syntax for teacher emails (eg [email protected])

I swore blind this time last year that I wouldn't cry at our final assembly ... then my friend started bawling and she set me off and we both couldn't stop because everytime we looked at each other we'd start crying again. >_<

I was so happy to finish VCE, but I do miss school, and I miss seeing my friends every day. Now I'm lucky if I see them once a week - uni has turned my friendship groups into days ... I have Monday friends and Tuesday friends and Friday friends etc.

And I miss some of my teachers. And especially miss all the music people and events :(

LOL...the school always manages to make even the "toughest" people cry at that final assembly! Especially with that really sad Mozart music they always play when the Year 12s come in. I have it this Tuesday. I swear I won't cry...but we'll see about that :p I remember last year, Catherine (Holt) was crying, so when I went to say goodbye to her, I started crying too!

My attitude to finishing school - excited and relieved. Doing UMEP this year has made me realise just how much better uni is, compared to high school...if anything it has made me so impatient to move on to uni for real!

I don't really mind, I'll probably keep in touch with the people that I want to from High School. But yeah, A few teachers were good this year.

Yeah a lot of people at my school overhype it.

Eventually, time grows any non-contact relationship distant. Mind you, if I saw any teachers from high school walking about,  I'd happily wave them down and have a chat.

But yeah, you do lose contact with them as you get deeper and deeper into Uni. Bigger things to worry about, new networks to develop...

I don't miss school as much as what I thought I would, though I do miss it sometimes. I almost wish there was a high school year after VCE that was low-pressure, you do some work, but mostly just see people you like. I am very happy to be where I am now, though. University is great, on the whole.

Leaving school was the best thing that ever happened to me :D
Same here, leaving uni would probably be hard for me though, I'm loving uni life. xD
