Just a quick question (sorry for starting a thread about it :P), but when are we notified about them, and what is the process for them? I'm scared if I don't get one, my family will verbally abuse me.  :-\ :)

Sorry I'm not able to help you in this topic but scholarship? Then surely you're not bad at your two maths - at least no as bad as you say you are :P

(But then again I'm not sure what course you're going for so, sorry for sounding ignorant.)

To be a bit more specific - what have you applied for?

I applied for Monash's scholarships and got told I had one on results day, but this information could be completely irrelevant for your situation :P

Oh... I will be more specific :)

I applied for a financial scholarship at La Trobe (lol, as if academic :P), to the law field especially. I was just wondering if they would accept me if I have appalling results in maths (literally :(... hehe, dekoyl), and when will I get notified and how? Is it as simple as a letter on results day? I'm so confused. :P

I got a UoM scholarship offer on results day (it was an access scholarship). Monash also awards scholarships on results day.

For other courses, I think its awarded after you've been accepted into the course, especially if it's specifically for financial assistance, as opposed to academics.

I want a scholarship because I'm poor as well! Really makes me think that I should have tried harder in school. XD

I've applied for equity and academic scholarships, I don't have really high hopes but it doesn't hurt to try.

But the application process is so complicated. When you apply, is it just general and they choose a suitable scholarship for you? I don't even know. :S

When I applied, I didn't put any circumstances, (although I have many), so will this hinder my opportunity at a scholarship if I get a really average ENTER (like, 70 or something)?
