Just wondering if anyone else has done TSSM exam 1 and found it to be of higher difficulty compared to every other exam (including VCAA)??

I got 27/40 :| And I normally get 35+/40...

I tried to upload the 2008 TSSM exams directly to this post, but it wouldn't work for some weird reason.

It wasn't hard just had to really pay attention to the wording. It was a bitchy exam if you ask me. Forget about it VCAA exam won't be like that.

Well.. I now find that they have made a few mistakes in their answers so I didn't get that many wrong ! haha..

and yeah, it was the wording of the questions that made it hard... although, some of the stuff was a little confusing as well (like working out the volume of a truncated cone by using ratio lengths to find radius of the top circle .. etc). Overall, I know where I went wrong so hopefully I don't make the same mistakes next Monday!

Why do so many companies have mistakes in the solutions? Especially Checkpoints! I pointed out all the wrong answers to my teacher the other day :smitten:

Because they are crap. No one but VCAA can be trusted with our future. You've got to give it to them, despite acting like a dictatorship, they really do know what's goin' on.

While I'd like to believe this, unfortunately VCAA does make mistakes too, luckily, when the mistake is found then it is counted as "Correct" for everyone, no matter their answer.

But yeah, VCAA does make considerably less mistakes probably because they actually proofread their exams :P

I believe there was a mistake in the 2006 exam 1 (Multiple Choice).

Could be wrong though.
