YAY!! Its finally over.

I loved the 1984 prompts, i think this is one of the best essays ive written

Our context (imaginative landscape) I did it last, so i think i blabbered on a bit, the newspaper article threw me off, i just wrote an essay

I definatly didnt do as well as i hoped for the analysis, i just dont think my essay flowed at all! But thank- god it was only one article!!

Yeah I tried too! I kept re-reading to make myself keep on track! Ha I used my 'plays on the audiences paternal instincts' again!

As an average English student i must agree, great feeling getting it over and done with. Id be happy with 30+ simply so i don't feel terrible on december 15th.
English is really hard to say how well you did either. You get cycled on one mistake you make and you think you totally failed and get an awesome mark or even vice versa.
Also, "I can think of a plethora of improvements", that's bound to happen. Love that word too =]

i started extremeley confident! knew everything, even during reading time i was confident as hell.
it started the moment we started writing, that i went blank. my throat started to get tight, i couldnt breathe and was screaming on the inside, ready to burst.

Too late to do anything now, im sure it wasn't that bad.

Dont get too caught up on it though, just do your best for the next few exams.
And dont give up on your ambitions and dreams.
Even if you dont go aswell as you hoped and don't get the enter score you need, with persistence you will still get there, just dont give up!

i know i can do well on the rest of my exams, i just have to think positive.
it was my first anxiety attack and i really dont want that to happen again.
some stress is good, but too much isn't.

i've noticed that everyone seems to have low expectations for english, i.e. in the low to mid 30's predictions...

We like to keep everything modest... Just anticipating that final results day; when we can exploit our scores for good measure.

Oh, and I have to mention that I used the word 'facade' in my exam! My new favourite word :smitten:

That reminded me..i used the word "farce" for like the first time in the essay- but everytime i wrote it i had to look it over again because it kept on thinking i'd written something "dirty"? lol wierd
