Dan, for  40 or above raw you will only need around 50-51/60

definitely above 50 ... A+ (last year) was 51.5.. so you would need above this for sure.. 53-54 would get 40 - 42  

a 50 (A+,A+,A) would not get you a 40 ..

No he wouldnt.

38-39/40 for exam 1 would give him a massive score for Exam 1 (check that pic i posted a few months ago about how SS is worked out)
50-51/60 would probz be around a high A and with a High A+ he would for sure get 40

hmm so i take it that the general consensus about every mark dropped = a study score lost in further is not true? haha

Yeah, 33/40 is an A i would imagine..
sweet...I might actually get an A. I'm preety happy with my mark since the only study I did was a day before the exam(yes...i know I'm stupid for doing that). I keep putting further off, even though it's by far my easiest subject. However I think my teacher would be disappointed, he thinks I'll get 37-40 for exam 1 bahaha...if only he knew!

Good luck for exam 2 tomorrow guys!!!

yeah guys i wasnt clear on the sac scaling and what not and i know it has to do with the schools and stuff.  What kind of score would i be expecting with a 35/40 for exam 1, 57/60 for exam 2 and say...sac mark averages of 60 percent?
2007: Chinese SL: 42 [50.75]
          Accounting: 30 [29.5]   LOL at my Accounting
2008 Aims:  English: 40
                  Methods: 35
                  Economics: 45
                  Further Mathematics: 45
                  Chemistry: 28
