VCAA don't know shit how to make an exam.
Make some modules difficult and some others easy.

shame that their exams are the actual ones that matter

would VTAC be more generous on the scaling then due to the harder exams? lol

(ok that is a pretty big ask lol)

No...difficulty of exams does nothing as study scores are based on percentile rankings anyway; not raw scores. A hard exam just creates a better shaped bell curve, as opposed to say methods '06 where everyone was on the top end of the scale. From what I know, only thing that affects scaling is how well spesh students do on their other subjects (although I have no clue how this would be done).

this years psych was easier than last years, i think.
and the sense and sensibility passages on the lit exam this year, i believe, were too narrow, last years ones allowed a broader discussion.
oh and the 2/3 of the kinsella poems were shit.

thanks vcaa.

As the VTAC data suggests most subjects hold their mean SS, it doesn't really look like there is a big difficulty gap in exams from year to year
