White-out tape in exams

On all the covers of exams it says 'No White-out liquid/tape"

Do you think if you used it anyway during the exam, they would really care? I find those roller whiteout things really helpful, you can go back and change things, fix grammatical errors etc, and yu dont look a complete retard for scratching out a whole paragraph of text. So, lets say for a 'Question/Answer' kind of subject, do you think the person marking the exam and would notice and fail you or something?

Well... I don't know how they allowed you in with it in the first place? I don't really know if not following instructions would do much, but I guess you know for next time not to bring it in now? :)

i think you might get failed
because they strictly tell you that you arent allowed to bring it in so if you do and you dont say that you did it is a breach of rules and it could actually go to court o_o... or so i have been told by teachers

i wonder why you can;t bring white out.. is it because you can white out questions and stuff? o_O?

I think its more of making sure that it doesn't get all over your barcode stuff and your MC question sheet maybe, so that the computer doesn't scan it and blow up.

Just don't use it.
Who cares if you look like a retard for scribbling stuff out (which in fact you don't). It's not like they're going to make a public announcement and show your exam to everyone and you don't get deducted marks for scribbling stuff out.
Write every two lines if you want to go back to correct stuff.

whiteout/liquid paper/snowpaque [as i first knew it] :) seems useless, unless you enjoy using it. but that's irrelevant in an exam

The use of any sort of white out is a breach of the rules set in place by VCAA. They might tolerate it once, but more than that will lose you significant marks, if not a fail of the exam. The rules are there for a reason, don't break them because you're afraid an unknown examiner might think slightly less of you. Believe it or not, the examiners don't sit there for an hour trying to see what you crossed out so they can laugh at what you did wrong. They are payed by the paper, not by the hour.

where is the amount of papers the examiner has marked.

Don't do it. You won't fail, I've heard stories of students white-outing entire essays or whatever and not failing (but also not doing well). It's likely that either:
a) it will be confiscated by a supervisor; or
b) it will be a huge waste of time.

I remember in year 12 I was told to scribble differently on exams. My normal method was to keep going over the words so that they become illegible and I was told that this was too much of a waste of time, and to just put a line through it. Now, if scribbling is supposed to be a waste of time, so must be the process of putting down your pen, picking up the white-out tape, getting the white-out tape to actually work, whiting out whatever you need, putting the tape back down, and picking up your pen again.

If it turns out you make a mistake and it costs you a lot of room on your exam, you can always request a script book or you can write in a different blank space on the paper (just make sure the examiner is clear about where your answer actually is!)

Also, when you correct things, say in a written exam, you can just use ^ or v and insert whatever word you wanted to be in there, or write above the word. It's fairly common, it won't effect your mark, it won't make you look like a retard (OMG!! That kid made a minor grammatical error under very stressful conditions, UG!!!), examiners are used to it, and you wouldn't have to re-write entire paragraphs because of a couple of errors. And like dekoyl said, it can be a good idea to only write on every second line.

OFF TOPIC:
are you implying that the amount of paper they mark grows exponentially? :P

If you're worried about looking like a complete retard, you should see some of my work where there's been, for example a true false question
My answer looks like T F T F T with a box around it
