Hey all,
Having read a lot of people comments on the VCAA exams for 08
They seem to be pretty hard this year.
Provided the average mark per subject is low, would that mean that the 09 exams would be somewhat "easier"??

It varies from subject to subject; there isn't a general 'hard year' or 'easy year' that concerns ALL subjects. For example, Methods was a killer last year, so it will almost certainly be a little easier this year. But Biology was difficult last year, so this year was a little easier. And I find that in general, the 'Arts' subjects (history, the englishes, LOTEs etc.) aren't so badly affected by this whole difficulty issue. It's really mostly the maths/sciences.
I wouldn't worry about difficulty too much - just study hard and go into your exams knowing your stuff. I had to learn this the hard way - worrying too much about difficulty wastes time and gets on your nerves, so it's really not worth it, especially right around exam time!

as high as possible of course!!
i got 87/90 for a class practice exam which i was pleased with and have gotten 90/100 for unit 3 and 93/100 for unit 4, so just gotta hope that i don't screw up the exam.
i started studying for it a few months ago but then had to neglect it completely in the last few weeks for my other subjects, here's hoping i can polish up before wednesday!!

Nope, 3rd. But hoping to pull off 50+/60 for the exam. Don't think it's possible thought, with all the careless mistakes I make. :(
