For Orthogonal Drawings

Does anyone know when drawing circles, that you have to draw an outer box surrounding it. and lines through that makes out to look like a + sign.

Imo, it is a waste of time. They don't examine how prefect you draw, but rather, for formalities and correct notion of procedure. Ie, circles in isometric diagrams, they actual are slightly eclipse. If you can handle the stencil in quick succession, by all means, go for it!

I have colouring pencils (your normal one), texture board, 2B, HB, 6B, 4B pencils, fine liners, set squares, ruler, sharper, crayons. No copic markers :(
Will have to sharpen all this weekend!

Good luck to all

By the way, what do you mean by "outer box surrounding it"?

Can you elaborate more on the circles in isometric drawing? the formalities n stuff. I learnt all my self(I know im being a bit emo, but thats how it is at my school) from Leading Edge study guide. But dont quite get it, they had like a cross in a circle or something... not sure if their guidlines...our to express formality and conventional procedures.

I WANT COPIC MARKERS TOO >_<

Yeah sucks prob like half the state applied for one, it seems like not applying for SEAS puts you into a disadvantage...i wonder if you can still bring it up...

- question 3. Notice the difference in the 'circles'. They are slightly eclipse.

For circles, IN ORTHOGONAL, you have to include the + symbol and it is measured in diameter with the O symbol and / going through the middle.

Nah, I have some copic markers, but we can't use them because they will bleed through the page. Would have saved a lot of time with rendering!

Good luck!

im pretty sure most of the pages that require rendering are blank on the other side, i intend to take in copic markers... im not sure what else i should take in, i wasnt aware we could take in stencils? i just thought it was set squares and rulers...
