ok, i want to know if everyone got the question about breastfeeding right(when the increased consumption of a particular nutrient was required)? i misread it and wrote about pregnant women rather than breastfeeding...hope it doesn't make a difference to my overall mark

with so many positive feedback on the exam, i think the scaling might go down a few from last years or something.

well if everyone found it easy, VCAA would want a balanced curve so scaling would help achieve this. That is if everyone or majority found it easy.

I didn't think it worked quite like that...?

Wouldn't they just increase what percentage you required for an A+?

(Sorry, I'm fairly ignorant with all of this. Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

By an increased percentage, less people will get A+'s, and hence lower study scores than what they would expect last year, since the exam had limited difficulty. It's kind of unfair, but VCAA need to do what they have to do. :(

Oh, I thought he was saying that HHD as a subject would now be scaled down more than the current 4 points due to the exam being more difficult?

Personally, I think it's fair that the percentage required for A+ varies according to exam difficulty and cohort performance. It wouldn't be very fair if they didn't ;)

Regarding scaling……there will always be the same percentage of people who get A+’s…that is why VCAA changes the cut off point for A+ on the exam each year.

Lower study scores??? I don’t think so…..those are also done on a bell curve so the same amount of people will achieve certain scores.

Subject scaling when working out the ENTER is done by VTAC not VCAA, and this does differ.

I found it easy and was actually pretty angry because i knew so much more than what they were asking...
We didnt even study menapause, but i just used common sense and said oestrogen and progesterone for the hormones and that they decrease haha.
