screwing up exam 1, still get 40+ score?

so, just say......a friend of a friend of mine, made a butchery of exam 1, and lost around 10 marks. do you guys reckon it'd be possible to still get like a 40+ score? cos i reckon youd need to get pretty high 70s on exam 2

losing 10 marks for exam 1 isnt all too bad cause of how difficult the exam was compared to previous years, but i imagine you cant lose many marks on exam 2 to get 40. atleast 75+ on exam 2. but thats my opinion
