You can live on-campus.

I've had to go down there a few times for meetings and whatnot. It's quite a nice campus. Very tranquil - a great break from Clayton.

Monash shuttle bus Clayton-Peninsula service:

Departure Time Clayton             Departure Time Peninsula
7:15 AM                                    7:50 AM
9:15 AM                                  10:15 AM
11:15 AM                               12:15 AM
1:15 PM                                   2:15 PM
3:15 PM                                   4:15 PM
5:15 PM                                   6:15 PM

From my experience with the Clayton-Caulfield 1, the bus has bout a 5-10min turn around time, so I'd say the journey itself would take bout 40 mins.

Personally, I would jst g2 Clayton campus then catch the shuttle bus to and from Peninsula campus.
Shuttle bus is a free service, so long as u have ur student ID.
U'd have 2 pay 4 a Clayton parking permit tho, unless u car-pool.
...That would still b cheaper than driving the Clayton-Peninsula stretch urself every day.
