What does it take for a 45+ score in Chemistry?

How many marks over both exams could i possibly lose for a study score of over 45 in chemistry.

I'd say around 6-8 overall. I got a 41 by dropping 15 across both exams.

kingmar got 42 and dropped 5 marks over both :P (though I think this is an extreme case, midas_touch is probably right. In my year you could lose a mark and still get 50)

Hmm I got a 41 in 2006 and I dropped 10 and 5 marks respectively on both exams.

Nope. A and A+. I Missed out on the A+ cutoff in semester 1 by 1.5 marks.

I would've dropped about 6 or so marks across both exams last year and I got 46

same position, i dont think itll be as extreme as losing 5 marks over both and getting a 42 this year

I lost 3 and 5 (so 8 overall) and got 46 last year.
VCE 2008:
English 49                        Physics 45
Specialist Maths 47           Economics 44  
Maths Mathods CAS 50     (2007) Chemistry 46

Aggregate 208.8
ENTER 99.90
