Differentiation by First Principle

LOL its been a while since I've seen differentiation by first principle. but came across it during multiple choice Q2 Kilbaha 08 exam 2.
Someone care to quickly show me how to diff by 1st again?

well the question is find the gradient of y = mod(sin(x^2)) at x = k
and it just has a bunch of choices in the 1st principle form of lim h -> 0

I'd be able to do it by hand if there wasn't a modulus in the way...cbf with that >_>

Wouldn't what Mao put simply be the answer? He said the answers were in that form so don't you just use the formula ?
