Yeh i was aware vascular does refer to just the blood vessels and doesn't include the heart.

In regard to my query before about question 9 looking over my notes i think D actually is the correct answer as the principle of frequency states you must train at least 3 times per week in order to see improvement... however that only makes me feel a bit better about the stupid mark i threw away for the shade 02 debt where i went across then down instead of going down then across. god i'm an idiot for that

me n my mate were talkin bout this question. i put it on the left cos he was underaroused and 'needed' to become more aroused to increase performance, but my mates an idiot and tried to convince me that he was so pumped that he needed to yell something out. im just hoping i was right cos thatd b embarrassin if i wasnt

Yeah you are right.

It's an arousal promotion technique.

For the question regarding reducing EPOC, whats the answer? Active recovery?

Also about Lee Troop being a better marathon runner...that could be because of 243924 reasons...will examiners accept all 243924 reasons or just LIP?

For this one I said capillary density, to increase the diffusion of oxygen into the muscles.

I also said capillary density.

I was discussing it with my teacher and he said it could be a good warm up. This means that the aerobic system is warmed up and ready to fire earlier on during exercise. Therefore reducing the time the athlete will spend on O2 deficit which reduces EPOC. However i said runing at a different time of day so the temp isnt to high.

yeah i said active recovery,
and ye about the lee marathon runner pretty sure LIP is the only answer,
there was a questiothe 07 exam which asked which would distinguish between a marathon runner and sumthing else,
answer was LIP heaps of people got it wrong, so yeah i knew they would test it again.

But the question didn't say anything about physiological reasons, or training or anything...

Simply why is Lee Troop > 'x'?

Worst question of all time, answering something like greater tactics, i think could be a perfect answer. Yes i answered LIP, yes they probably wanted LIP...but still, tis tough.

Also that question regarding LIP and the different speeds, HRs etc.
I think its another pretty bad question as they've been drilling into us that LIP is a region not just a point, and then they pull out a question and ask us to tell us one specific speed with which it occurs...not a range...ah well, doesn't matter now.
