For student welfare I put Medical Care and Pastoral Care.

The Student Welfare. For some reason I thought at the last second that Pastoral Care was a subject and they were trying to confuse us. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

My headings were the same except instead of student welfare I put 'Pastoral Care'.. isn't this the broad heading for which student welfare is under?

I put heading as Student Welfare, since thats one of the headings on my schools website.

What did you guys write for the VLOOKUP? I got something like =VLOOKUP(C2,$G$9:$H$11,1)*C2

I just wrote VLOOKUP and some random jiberish after that..

I put 'Student Welfare' and 'Pastoral Care' and 'Medical Care' underneath it.

What ell wrote is the correct formula - although I would use $C2 rather than C2 as there's no good reason to allow it to spread columns (not that you intend to anyway). It's just the perfectionist in me talking.
