it was ok except for the .9V question on the fuel cell

ne = It/F

ne x V = V i T / F

E / F = Ne V

E = Ne V F

i cant believe i subbed 1 for number of moles of electrons.. o well ... 1 mark.

i thought it was pretty easy, but writing the equations for the NiCd fuel cell, screwed me over.

What did people get over the efficiency of the fuel cell over the combustion of hydrogen, near the last question?

Im not that great at chemistry but heres my multiplechoice

CCAC
DCAD
BACA
DCAD
BDDC

anyone else ?

haha mine are so different. i just guessed but. eh, exactly how good would you rate yourself in chem on a scale of 1 to 10? :P

a 1.

did anyone got 25.34 degrees celcius for the final temperature of the 2nd question?
You forgot to convert kJ to J, 69.8° is correct
I got the same, you had to convert the kj to j, find the increase then add it to the initial temperature!!

I thought it was very easy considering I did minimal study, but hey I might've just gotten everything wrong :P I was happy walking out though :) Should get around a B/B+...A if I'm lucky :)
For the concentration question in short answer using KA (i've forgotten the chemical, ethanol or something) did you guys end up with 0.35M? :)

yup

What are consequential marks? Can someone give me a definition?

If I didn't know the answer to part a of a question, but needed it to calculate part b, and if I said

"If x = 49328492"

then used that to calculate the answer using the correct method, would I get marks?
