How is everyone approaching d-day?

So- how are people coping in the lead up to December 15th?

Im not so sure how i should be responding. I get excited, then i get worried.
I eventually came to the conlcusion if i keep thinking about school/ ENTER scores, it will keep me sane :idiot2:

Also, how are you actually going to tackle THE DAY. Are you getting an SMS to find out at 7.00am, finding out via the PC at 9.00am, or you waiting until the 16th? Im not so sure. I want to find out in the morning, because if i get a bad ENTER i have all day to recover before my schools awards night on the same day.
Then again, i want to surprise myself and wait until the awards night- lol.

What about everyone else?

For the lead up, I'm not really that nervous.  I have a sense of curiosity more than anything - I wonder how I performed and I would like to see if I did well or not.

On the day, I'm probably going to do it through the internet!

When I had my results come out, I was on the BoS IRC (which I'd organised for them -.-) and did an all nighter.

I tried that but slept through my SMS tone, 2 alarms, 2 calls and 3 SMSes from people wondering what I got ... and woke up at like 8.30 ><

I can't remember what I was doing the day before results last year, but I remember the day before results in year 11 I just watched DVDs of Degrassi to take my mind off everything.

I'm going to access it through the internet after 7AM. I don't really like the idea of getting my results in an SMS.

I'm quite anxious to see how I went, I don't really know what to expect.

I don't know.
I know what to except and it's not something I'm particularly looking forward to.

I haven't been coping well at all. I'm sorta doing what I said I was going to do, catching up on tv shows (finished full house, coffee prince, and I'm halfway through Mad Men) and playing games, but I haven't been able to sleep well at all. In between attempts to sleep, sometimes I'll predict my study scores and enter (it always changes), which causes me to go from calm to worried depending on how I work it out.

I'm much more prepared for results day this year then I was last (I spent last year searching my room for my student number after a classmate texted me, gave up and went to sleep and just got it in the mail the next day). I've set up various countdown timers (desktop widget, screensaver, and internet link that counts down by the second). I've got my student number and pin saved on the myinfo login page but I registered to get it via SMS. I'll still be on my comp, though. Anybody else doing an all nighter?

You can usually access your results like half an hour early. Try to check your results on the morning at about 6:30-6:45.
