CON: They make people put annoying bright colours in their signatures at vcenotes.com when "criticized".

Closing this thread, because this will only stimulate negative discussion that gets out of hand and ends up in a flame war of some kind. Nipping this in the bud. :)

How is it "seeking attention"? And the religion thread didn't end up in a flame war? There are hardly any posts at all in this thread!

I think this action more than anything else shows your true colors; that of trying to shut down the airing of viewpoints that you don’t like by any means at your disposal, whether that be by making baseless personal attacks rather than discussing the topic, to shutting down whole threads that have barely even started.

Excuse me? I've let threads with far more distasteful opinions than the Arts thread go on, where the debate was civil. But given the deliberate nature of your trolling provocation, I made an executive decision and determined that this was just an extension of your past trolling -> divisive reaction type of posting on this subject. Thus, in the interest of curbing ANOTHER one of these threads, I closed it. If you wish to discuss this further with me and explain away your actions, then by all means, you have me on MSN and the lines of communication are open. If this is what I think it is, and you're just trying to bring this out in a public, attention seeking manner, then it is likely that I will not hear from you. But please do not circumvent the closing of this thread with the powers to which you have become priviliged. :)

I agree with Brendan. Locking a thread in anticipation of trolling is more of an indication of how much your own perception annoys you, rather than what anyone has said that annoys others.
