It might be a good idea to start reading your English texts at a leisurely pace now. For your other stuff, do the assigned work by the end of the year then start doing your own study in January. Don't guilt trip yourself if you don't get that much done though, it's not a huge deal - just make sure you do the work you actually have to do before the holidays end.

Wow you've had holidays for 2 weeks already? That's a long time :S

I'd say start reading your English text before you sleep (if you're that kind of person who likes to read in bed).
I'm half way through one of my texts and it's only been a few days so you'll have heaps of time.

Dont worry about studying for all your subjects (apart from the holiday homework)

Focus on ur weakest subject more thoroughly, like i did spesh heaps last year and didnt even touch methods, cuz i cud easily catch up on it.

Remember whatever u do now, u have to maintain it throughout the year, thats where the key lies.....

Yep... Don't burn out in the middle of the year like so many of us have succumbed to... It's not good for your health, so a strong and steady pace throughout the year is really the best option. :)

Read you longest English book...
but apart from that, relax or you WILL burn out. That's all i did and looking back, i dont think summer work would have done much for me except extend an aleady difficult year!
Get a good break, that's my advice

Depends on you really. I read my English books in the holidays before year 12 because I like reading, but didn't do anything else because I knew that I'm the kind of person who gets burnt out easily. So I took it easy during the holidays. But I also know people who were about half a year ahead by the time school started, because they were far more hardworking and far less lazy than me, lol. And didn't burn out nearly as easily.

Did the people who was so far ahead receive excellent ENTERs?

Yeah kinda puts me at ease. Her awesome results show it's not impossible to do well if you don't do much in the holidays :)

Lol, I guess it's just mind over matter. If you have the will to achieve, then it doesn't matter how much you have studied! You can still get awesome scores. :)
