I think after we put in the SEAS application, it disappears because we can't alter it anymore?

Possibly not, Unless you applied for some special program with them. For example, with RMIT, the program was called SNAP, in which under-represented schools nominate 3 courses and describe in 300 words why they would be best suited to that course.
And with VU, there was something called PPP (Portfolio Partnership Program), which each of us had to make a portfolio of all of our achievements and send it over to the Uni.

I guess if you aren't involved with some sort of special program, then you don't get the offers for SEAS until results day?

For Melbourne, you might not receive any word until your ENTER comes out, or potentially on offers day (depends on if you want a scholarship or if you're using SEAS to get into a course altogether). I'm not sure about Deakin.

Out of those courses I would do one of the RMIT ones. I'm sorry to say that a law degree from VU isn't looked upon very highly while the Media/PC/Journalism are the best of their type in Victoria. Journalism is very tough at the moment for job prospects, my sister, who graduated in the top 3 of her year at RMIT, had to take a cadetship at a country newspaper as The Age didn't take any one and the Herald Sun took one, who had 3 years industry experience. Of course if Journalism is your passion then I would still take this course.

But I guess the main reason why I want the Law course is because after a year, I can transfer into any other Law course I want (provided I get good results :P). And I don't think it is entirely difficult to get good scores at Vic uni, given that you study for the necessary hours. I think my career path is chosen. :)

Just remember that you will most likely have to repeat first year law once you transfer. I'm sure you'll get the results :)

Most preferably, a corporate or copyright lawyer. Wanted to do criminal law before, but didn't want to get killed incase I lost a case. :S

Thanks Nina. :) I don't mind repeating, as long as I get a prestigious law degree at Monash, my career will be elevated. :)

Nope, each uni sends you a letter in the mail to notify you of the outcome (accepted or rejected).

Yay Happy!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^

Aww, thanks Jess! :)
