Yeh he's fairly old but he's actually a really nice guy. Sorry I went out before before I could dig out his email so here they are: [email protected] and [email protected]

He's sent me emails from both before, but the hotmail one's the most recent so opt for that I guess. Just email him asking for enrolment details and he should send you a few PDFs with the details. Just keep in mind that 'level 4' is Methods, and 'level 5' is Specialist. Also, I forgot to mention before that you don't actually have to do that test to get in. He now has 2 levels, A and B, and to get in to B, you don't have to pass the test. Apart from that, there isn't that much of a difference though.

Exactly how much homework does Dr.He assign? a booklet ?

It's usually a page or two per week (there's no writing space on the page though, so it ends up being probably 3-4 A4 pages of working out per week). Problem is that the weekly challenge question can take several hours to do in some cases =\

For those people who goes to Dr He, what kind of stuff do you actually do?
Got any sample notes etc?
I think his "accelerated" maths tutoring is bit vague and would like more insight to it Thanks. :P

Hey sorry to revive the old thread up.Just need to clear up a few questions.
Is he really good at teaching and explaining the concepts in depth? i only heard that his homework is ridiculously hard; is this because he doesn't explain the concepts well enough in class?
I've met him once before and he seems quite 'fobbish', does this affect his teaching?

A friend of mine recommended him if I wanted a maths tutor, on the basis that he helps you gain a deeper conceptual understanding.

Yeah, I've had some friends try and convince me to go, but it's too far away.

He definitely explains his stuff very well, I don't think his 'fobbishness' affects the teaching very much.
His main strength is probably the conceptual side of the maths, and he is always finding ways to make things easy to remember (as us students will know :P)

He is awesome.

Just went to his Level 5 class today; it was quite challenging. Usually I will do my own stuff in class, but in Dr. He's class I had to stay focused for the whole time in order to keep up. Learned a lot.

That's good to hear! I've been there since halfway through Level 1 (now Level 4) and I'm so glad I joined while he was still quiet-ish! :P

Yet I am yet to see a single non-Asian go there...
Our school has been overrun by a love/hate of Dr He :P

Correct.  He's in the level 5 class this year, I believe (level 4 last year :p).
