LOL!!!
Our cast is awesome. Like its a super cast. Troy and Gabriella are a guy and a girl who can do the works, sing, dance and act.

Our school is pretty big on 'The Arts'. The person who is producing this whole thing is an actual musical producer who has her own musical production company, with many productions being sighted in various media.

Also the fact that its going to be at the Drum Theatre shows how much effort they are putting into this.

Yep I'm just about to be cast as Chad ... whoever that is!
haha
Edit: Have been cast as Zeek. :)

Never done something like this. Should be a pissa. Drum theatre in dandy end of July-Start of August 2008!

So whats this musical about anyway?
lol

LOL. You've been cast into a musical that you don't even know the plot of? Oh dear...haha

Which company
are you doing this with? DTC? or with school?

I personally think it's a fairly average musical...but it seems to be the craze atm. hah. It's the kind of musical that *can* be O.K, but can be easily stuffed up with a bad cast. It, as most of the 'new generation' musicals are, low on chorus cast and high on lead/supporting characters (ie, less cast). So yeah, you'd going to have more focus on inter-character interactions and character development.

Whatever the case, best of luck in your production - and let us know when it happens. I might just take the 5 minute drive from the north of Dandenong to have a look (provided tickets are reasonable ;P). Mind you, it's gotta be big budget if you've booked out the Drum though!

Who's this producer :o (I know a small segment of the amateur musical theatre crowd in the SE suburbs..)

Yeh, they are one of the less well known amateur musical companies. By no means the best from what I have read. The director is the Head of Resource Centre (Library) at my school.
