BRAINIAC club of 31 has scooped today's VCE results, achieving the highest possible score of 99.95.
This year 49,030 VCE pupils successfully completed their final-year studies - a pass rate of 96.9 per cent, slightly higher than last year.
Twenty-one boys and 10 girls are at the top of the "class" of 2008, recording the perfect ENTER (Equivalent National Tertiary Entrance Rank).
Slightly more female students (97.2 per cent) passed year 12 than males (96.5 per cent).
Girls also trumped boys in achieving higher average ENTER scores - the female average was 65.51, while for boys it was 62.63.
Average ENTER scores this year were a marginal improvement on last year.
More than 14,500 students recorded at least one study score of 40 or more.
An elite group of 624 pupils achieved a flawless study score of 50 in at least one subject.
