i hope vcaa gets bored sometime in the future and makes a 99.95 with an aggregate of 72.15 with very harsh scaling down of subjects.

eg spesh scales down by 17.

further scales down by 42

My aggregate was 209.9

Does that mean that the aggregate required to get a 99.95 has lowered? I thought you had to get 211. But then again, I may have just made that up.

It's lower this year because for some reason spec isn't scaling up nearly as much as it used to. Seems that a 209.1 was enough to get you 99.95 this year, whereas in my year my friend got 210.9 and only got 99.90 (poor guy).

Doubt it very much. There is bias towards those known to the community more on this site. This can be seen by the announcement at 7:11am when there is no chance everyone would have gotten their results in yet. I remember last year it was in the afternoon people started claiming a FSN dux. They both equally earned it.

polky's aggregate is higher than mine so she deserves it more

And to polky, really well done - besides the ENTER, you achieved excellent scores in a huge variety of subjects!

a 99.95 is still a 99.95, aggregates dont count to dux only the ENTER at the end

I am trying to be impersonal in my posts. Whether you believe you deserve a thread half dedicated to you or not isn't what I'm arguing. I am arguing as to why after only 11 minutes since results came out a dux was determined (we found a 99.95 among IRC users, thus this must be our only dux? our most important one?), and then the fact enwiabe has edited this thread after you have posted your results and failed to acknowledge your existence.

Humphdogg's post inspired me to see me get an answer to this question. I will not rest until I get one
