At the moment 49 people have signed up and havent posted... tad weird.

A further 16 have made one post

and in total
126 have made 10 or less posts.

interesting statistic/s =)

You know what's creepier. People who read but don't join up. Or when there is a thred and you look at the number of views v. number of posts, and there's all these people who read but don't post.

It took me about a year from first seeing the other site and reading threads, to posting B)
But people should be aware that we are writing things - it is permanent, will stay forever, you can't edit or take back anything you said 2 years ago. and that of course people can go 'see person's latest posts' or whatever and follow you. et cetera.

Kinda related... I find it funny how many people put "Victoria" or "Melbourne" as their location, rather than a suburb (or even more exact, as I've done  :shock:)
Speaking of which, there was some guy from Sydney on here (troll from BoS? :P), but he seems to have dissapeared now.

Oh, and the users "from" China and France are quite obviously spam bots :P

Heh, one of SMF's (a different type of forum system) features is that it keeps track of lots of statistics, including the total time members are logged in for (take a look at http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?action=stats). There was a member that had been on the forums for over 100 hours in total, and had never posted. I found that really strange :P
Even on my forum, the user with the third highest online time count has never posted :P
