I had a friend who hired out his local community hall. Spent a lot of time & money on lighting and it turned out really good

well you could do what one of my friends did, just go out with all your friends for dinner, then for those 18 and above drinks afterwards. and so you wont have to clean up your own house and all that.

or get a stripper LOL i kid.. but a random guy actually did suggest that to my friend when he found out we were celebrating his birthday.

otherwise what are your interests? do something revolving around them

Often pubs have an upstairs part which can be reserved for 18ths and 21sts, the bonus being that you don't have to worry about buying alcohol or your house getting destroyed. Also, they generally have decent security and gatecrashers won't be a problem either.

However, seeing as quite a lot of your mates aren't 18, then I'd recommend if you have it at your house to close off sections of it and make it just like the living room/dining area if possible. Also, less people is better, as 100 drunken teenagers will spell the end of your house.

My party wont be too big though, i'm leaving that for my 21st lol... maybe about 60-70 people max lol ..

Well, generally a large shed/garage thingo is good. Outside parties on cold nights = level 20 suckitude.
