If you want to work at Planet 13 (this shop for goths/punks/emos) then when you apply you actually have to attach a picture. Although I think that's to see whether you're hardxcore rather than good looking...

how about a powerpoint resume? me thinks that'll work well if you are creative enough
and if the employer dont want to sit through your slides just go to "outline" and it's like a standard resume anyways~~

I concur. Powerpoint is not a very easy way to present your data. They would prefer to have a list of resumes that they can just throw out if they look too crap on first glance, and then even after shortlisting, paper resumes are easier to review.
