are you supposed to leave humour at the door when entered the 'news and politics' forum coblin? if so, im sorry :)

No, I'm not targeting you specifically, but I know there are people who mean it sincerely, and that is worrying because they tie in their personal judgement into pushing for an agenda that is offensive to anyone who believes in individual liberties.

I think Corey himself is pretty spot on with understanding where he is responsible. He probably was responsible for some of the property damage, so he deserves to be charged but not with the full fee. He did not do it all.

But in what sense? Do you mean he physically damaged property or because he held the party he should be held responsible?

Unless the police have substantial evidence to prove that Corey physically damaged property then he is pretty much in the clear. That doesn't mean that I don't think he didn't do any damage but I guess it would just be a pure assumption without evidence.

Edit: There may be a law that could find him responsible for holding the party that led to damages but I'm not aware of it and really wouldn't make sense that a minor would be responsible for the actions of other minors who were on public property or were not on his property when damages occurred.

Yes I agree with you completely. I'm saying that if he was responsible, he should be charged. Sorry I didn't mean that he should be charged because he was probably involved with physically causing damage.

I'm not very articulate today.

Lol thats ok Coblin. I think I knew where you were coming from just needed to clarify it.

"Five hundred drunken teenagers have attacked police during a wild party in the Australian city of Melbourne."
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7187497.stm

An example of a Media outlet pissing me off.
OK so 500 teenagers at this party were ALL DRUNK? and ALL of them attacked police? Thats how I interpret that sentence. Its nonsense.

I personally think that Corey Delaney is a recalcitrant delinquent who has been given much more attention than he deserves.

His sunnies are also disgusting...

LOL. The problem is that the less educated in society actually believe it.

I'm actually pretty proud of Corey Delaney's reaction to the ACA. The way he responded to the sensational media outlet was perfect.

I don't have a problem with his sunnies, and I believe he is pretty clue'd up too. I believe he will accept responsibility for whatever he actually is responsible for, but it is not right to shift the responsibilities of others onto him. For this reason, I don't actually look down on him at all. I previously said he was a dickhead, but I'll retract that statement.

I'm boycotting the VIVO group (whatever they do), simply because they went on a moral highhorse and made a stupid site like this. "Slap some sense" into Corey. That's bad enough given the sentiment that we should "take away his glasses" and ignore individual responsibilities and just use him as the scapegoat for all the charges laid.

"the cheeky guys at VIVO"??

Get over yourselves, if you want cheeky it's Corey Delaney himself.

I think he is half a legend, personally. His responses on the ACA interview are gold.
