Would that use contributions from FSN members?

If by contributions, you meant user-created notes, then yes.

Yeh thats what I've always liked the sounds of considering the elitism of the student community here... but that doesnt seem to be the case

Is that what you meant costargh? What makes you think this site isn't filled with people who are predominantly intelligent?

What the hell. That is definetly not what I meant. In fact quite the opposite. If my understanding of the notes system is correct, it is that the notes will be from enwiabes friends, brothers friends etc where I like the idea of the notes being from the users of this site

No, anyone with an FSN account can upload/view notes. I meant I can't discuss the implementation of the notes system during its development (i.e., obtain feedback). I can only discuss it once its shipped, which means we my get the implementation wrong.

This, too, is due to a flaw in my personality - I like to have control over things, especially those that consume a lot of time.

OK, essentially we are building a program that allows notes to be uploaded and viewed by FSN users. There are multiple ways to achieve this purpose. Because I can't discuss the system with users, its implementation is limited to me and enwiabe's imagination and mightn't be successful. Briefly, users can't help to mould the notes system.
