Hi all. You may know of this already. but i post it up anyway.

http://www.itsnotcheating.com.au/

Get Microsoft Office 2007 for $75 (lifetime) or $25 for 1 year. All you need is a university e-mail address. This is great for those who don't want to get a pirated copy of it.LOL

Enjoy!
I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER!!

Ooh, nice :D
Even though I have no real use for Office 2007... I'm happy with OpenOffice (and, if I really need it, I have Office 2003) :P

I'm probably the only one... But anyone else notice anything interesting with the HTML code for that site? Microsoft used Dreamweaver rather than their own Frontpage for it :P

Heh. I took up on the offer in 2007 :P

Figured I'd need to learn how it works in order to support it at work (whenever they might decide to deploy it).

Obviously not, if even Microsoft itself uses a superior, rival product.

It takes time to learn Office 2007. I still find myself looking for the File menu and realising it was replaced by the button. Plus, the auto-saving in 2007's .docx format is annoying when you need to read those files somewhere else.

Otherwise, it's a good piece of work from Microsoft. I suppose people will move across in time, so you may as well buy it now.

I got it last year but my computer is too old to install it (lol, I only got it in 2004), but it's installed on my mum's computer. I prefer the default font to times new roman and I like how you have little previews of changes you want to make to the text and I like how it's easier to put in equations on publisher (not that I really care about that anymore).

Can you still use ALT to access the File menu?

Yeah, Alt-F, but I like the trusty File menu.

All the old keyboard shortcuts work.

I think Calibri is the default font. It's very good, as is Microsoft Math (equation inputter).

Eww, they made the default font a sans-serif font!

Have a look for yourself: Calibri

I like sans-serif though!

I've only used Microsoft Math once, I'd say that I like the usability of it over LaTeX - but it takes longer to input an equation MM.
