It's a little hard to try and see the best in someone and think they are sincere and just made a mistake when you see two examples of their hypocrisy on this forum in less than 5 minutes...

The Moderator interpretation of the Code of Conduct is designed to target those who are intentionally causing harm. My comment was made in jest, and you have completely blown it out in proportion. Let's review some facts:

1) You did it in a public forum. Hello attention seeker. I mean, seriously, you didn't even try to contact me privately for the apology and subsequent removal of the post. Again, hello attention seeker. (And hey, you've got it! You win!!!)
2) I did apologise (an apology generally entails accepting responsibility)
3) You still went on attacking me
4) You're grasping at straws
5) Hi attention seeker

This could easily have been resolved amicably via a private channel. And, yes, if I hadn't done anything about it you could have then gone public with your stunning revelation that, "OGMZ ADMIN BRAKIN DA RULEZZZZ!!111one". But no, you didn't. Enjoy your attention. Something I saw happen just the other night on chat...and was told that it wasnt tolerated even in a light hearted manner...exactly the reason i thought enwiabe was being hypocritical...

Seriously what has happened to this place. It seems a greater emphasis on rules and their policing has resulted in everyone criticizing eachother and a somewhat fragile admin-mod-member relationship/s.

At least at BoS we didn't have these problems even though the time it took to load the pages were shit.

I want it set in concrete now so that when the site goes live and we get a massive influx of members, there will be no room for argument. Trust me, it's better to get it done now and have a few annoying complaints.

But I think the majority of the rules are pretty common sense and by interpreting the rules and their sanctions so literally and stringently, it is causing unnecessary disharmony.

This is not happening any more. You are preaching to the converted. If you're still feeling a bit confused about my attacks on your karma record, disregard them, that has nothing to do with moderator policy, that is just my personal opinion (not sure if you're feeling this is part of "enforcing the rules").
