54 points... I feel dejected!

I feel your pain, at least I can say I was there when Robert Harvey played his last game. The Hawks were just simply too dominant in the midfield, and the game was over before half time. The Cats should smash them next week though.

someone in England got > 300000 *pounds* for betting several hundred on Xabi Alonso scoring from the halfway line [the season after he'd first done it]

franklin is ineligible

also i highly doubt bartel would've been at $81 at any stage of the year.

to get the most votes.....and im 100% sure he was at the price- he had a period between round 7 and round 17 (abletts dminate period) were he is unlikely to pole a vote...

i heard that corey enright from geelong could be a darkhorse. I don't think ablett will win because he missed 4 games, it very well could be bartell again

Can't see anyone winning it that is not Garry Ablett, Jimmy Bartel or Brent Havey.

Having said that I reckon Richo could pole afew, especially during rounds 1-11, but he won't win it. :(

History shows that players who win tend to pole well their whole careers. Bartel definately is one of those players, umpires like him and throw votes at him left right and centre.

I personally believe Ablett has had a better year, just for his gamebreaking ability, but I think Bartel might take the chocolates tonight and go back to back.

Simon Black from Brisbane Lions will go close every year he polls very well. He may not win it but not doubt he'll be up there

I put $10 on him to win earlier in the year when he was going really well. Too bad he got injured as the season progressed.
