Being kind to my team (St Kilda) there, Fitness. We could very well not win another game for the rest of the season the way we have been going at the moment.

I really think you can get up against Fremantle this week. You have a strong finish (as shown vs. Collingwood) which will work in your favour against the worst performing last quarter side.
Then vs Adelaide. At TD. Very winnable.
Then vs Essendon who have nothing to play for.
I think you can win ALL three (Y)

Well that is another possibility. All three games are 50/50, so we just have to take it a week at a time. We have a number of players that aren't giving in 100% effort which are in danger of not being at the club next year. You'd think that Robert Harvey's retirement would instill some drive to succeed though.

North Melbourne are looming as the dark horse this year for the premiership.

Geelong are too good for anyone. It's ridiculous. They have injuries and suspensions and still manage to flog anyone. It should be against the rules to be that good.

Agreed. Perhaps they will have a 3-4 year dynasty at the top, much like Brisbane from 2001-2003. They play such a beautiful style of football.

Its obvious that there talent comes primarily from Corey, Bartel and Gablett. Those three are the heart and soul of the team, thats true. But clubs need to learn that taking those three out isn't the answer. Look what happened to Port in the final last year, they put six men aside to handle those three, and that paved way for the rest of the Geelong side to dominate as Port didn't have enough players actually IN the game. Resulting in a 100 odd point loss.

And the dominance from the "lesser" players who weren't tagged as much.
EG
Steve Jonhson, 4 goals, coleman medallist
Cameron Mooney, 5 goals
Paul Chapman, 4 goals
Nathan Ablett (who was virtually left alone upfront), 3 goals

LOL at calling Steve Johnson, Cameron Mooney and Paul Chapman "lesser players", especially when you chuck Joel Corey in the 'relied on' list.
Steve Johnson is, and always has been, a freak of nature.
Cameron Mooney would have to be close to the most goal assist IN THE LEAGUE.
Paul Chapman is a VERY smart player.
Nathan Ablett is just a pansy.
