Well in my Summer Holidays I just started off reading the first couple chapters of the Cambridge Accounting book and went to the TSFX Summer School program - highly recommended!

Our school uses Neville Box's textbook, its pretty good.

WRONG!!! i found it a terrible book to use, ridiculously oversimplified. It's far too easy and does not prepare you adequately for exams. Make sure to get Cambridge, much better!!!

For Accounting Unit 3 I went to:
TSFX Summer School Program
TSSM Easter Program
TSSM Revision Program (waste of time imo)

For Accounting Unit 4 I went to:
NEAP September Holiday Program (not that good imo)

For Accounting, TSFX was really good so I'd recommend going to them.

Why did you goto other companies if TSFX was awesome, and it was the first company you used?

Just wondering...

Well TSFX did not offer an Easter program like TSSM, and did not host the revision lecture on an available day for me. In unit 4 I tried out NEAP because I thought they could be good considering I used the NEAP Smartstudy books and they were quite good.

Nope, didn't think it would be worth it.
In my opinion, VCE accounting is not hard or difficult at all, you will simply be building *slightly* on the stuff you learnt in Units 1&2. You just need to practice alot to avoid making silly mistakes and speed up your working.

Towards the mid-year exam, I was doing full exams in ~45 minutes, giving my a lot of time in the exam to check my answers.

Just did HEAPS of practice. As in, I completed about 26 practice exams from various companies, did practice questions from the lectures, checkpoints, neap smartstudy and a heap of practice material from my teacher.

I went ahead, especially during Unit 3 (aided by the Easter program), which allowed me to start practice exams about 5-6 weeks before the exam. This allowed me to get through quite a few before the mid-year!
