Who reads it?

I sent an email to mX today, I hope it gets in (soon).

It was about the skinny-leg jeans debate (I know, the issues are stupid, but this person didn't understand anything about rights):

"Stacey (mX, March 4), although people should have the right to express themselves through fashion (guys wearing skinny jeans), others also have the right to think it looks ridiculous. Such attitudes do not "stop" people from expressing themselves, they are merely personal opinions that everyone has a right to voice.
- Collin, Northcote"

You live in Northcote!!! That's where I live...

Btw, nice reply for the skinny jeans debate. Guys who wear skinny jeans are either anorexic, punk or emo. Only one out of 100 will look good in them (sadly), but those who look good in them, look really really good. *looks sheepishly around*

Our electorate is the most strongly Labor-aligned seat in all of Australia. How do you feel about it? :P

I think it's pretty awesome. What did you think I would answer? :D
I feel a bit sorry for you - you have more Liberal orientated political ideas and if you vote Liberal, it would do nothing to the result (that's a problem in living in a extremely safe electorate). What's even sadder is that the Greens (I think) get more votes in our electorate in the November election than the Liberals.

Not this time around. The third party vote thins out when the election is perceived to be important (people don't want to waste their vote on a close election).

heh. I was on the train once, I think I was going to the Melbourne Show. Anyway, my sister and I watched this woman try to pick up a guy (who said quite a few times that he already had a girlfriend). Anyway, she practically forced him to program her number into his mobile before he asked her name and she left the train. Anyway, her name was 'Viky' and once she left the guy remarked to his friends that because his phone automatically made words he had programmed it in as 'Ugly'.

Anyway, even when I used to catch the train I never read the mX unless I picked it up straight from the vendors. I have a thing about touching anything unnecessarily on public transport.

Yeah some of the train pick up lines in MX are hilarious, yet kinda sad at the same time.

Some snippets of what goes on in IRC:

<@enwiabe> i have the BEST orgasms when i'm working through a math problem

<@mark_alec> my bikini line however, is most important

what is wrong with guys wearing skinny jeans? This is obviously shows that the person who came up with the topic to debate is some fat minge who can't fit in skinny jeans and is upset that guys who have a smaller waist than her can fit in them
